Our early ticket exchange page for the gigantic free Black Eyed Peas show

UPDATE (5/18): No more ticket submissions are being taken on the Eventbrite page, so it is all down to luck / using this and our Facebook Event to get in.

UPDATE: We've created a Facebook Event for this show, given that more than 50,000 people are getting in and even more of you want to get in. Here we will be keeping you updated and trying to connect everyone so that you are sitting inside the concert and not standing outside.

In what will be perhaps the biggest free concert we've ever covered, the Black Eyed Peas will be giving away 54,000 tickets to random fans as we've outlined here. That's kinda a lot. Anyone applying can request up to 4 tickets. So here's the thing: many of you won't win, and many of you will. Many of you might win 4 tickets and not need all 4. Many of you might theoretically get shut out of this show you are dying to go to while tickets go unused by others.

So here's our proposal:

Tickets haven't been alotted yet, but here you have a place to make an agreement with your fellow fans. You might simply say "If I win four tickets, I'll give someone who didn't two of them, and if you win four tickets and I don't, you give me two". You can do whatever you want here (i.e. post email, etc), the point is that we wanted to create a forum early on with this many people out there.

Once these tickets do get allotted, then you can let everyone else know about your situation, kind of like what happened for the other Black Eyed Peas show.

We figured we'd post this sooner rather than later, since we're dealing with at least 54,000 people here and want to get as many of you that want to go to this free show in as possible. Also going to address ticketing issues as things progress and if we win any ourselves give them away to people who comment on this post. First commenters get first priority if us or any of our followers win.
