The concert takes place at the auditorium of the ACFNY at 11 East 52nd Street (between Fifth and Madison). Admission is free, but reservations are required.
Kompost 3 was founded in 2009 by the four Austrian musicians Martin Eberle, Benny Omerzell, Lukas König and Manu Mayr. Despite their young age, the members of Kompost 3 have already played with a wide selection of renowned artists. Their debut-album Kompost 3 was released in October 2010. Their coming album REKOMPOST, which is a collaboration with international remix-artists, will be released in the autumn of 2011.
Organic, earthy, alive; a jumble of countless bits and smears melted together into a single mass. A little funky. Sometimes very funky. Kompost 3 is all of those things.
