Starting this Friday + while supplies last you can get your FREE wristbands for admission to the Warped Kick Off Party (3/25 - House of Vans in Brooklyn), at five select Vans stores in the NY-area (Store locations in the attached flyer). Tix are limited to 2 per person and just come on in and say the secret code word "We Are Warped". The party features The Wonder Years, MC Lars, Moving Mountains and Lionize and will be capped off with the Teggart Stage announcement. And if that's not enough, a limited number of VWT tix for the Oceanport + Uniondale shows will be available for sale at a special low price, so bring your cash!!
Sounds backwards, but it's because those are the only east coast locations of a Vans store.
ReplyDeleteIf you're going to throw a free show, don't make people completely bend ass over backwards. They are going to naturally get pissed off and all of the good well of throwing a free show is gone. It is called online ticketing. I get that they want us in their stores but no way in hell am I or hundreds of people trekking all the way to NJ or Long Island. The marketing / advertising thing is fine at the show but not cool in this instance.
